It can withstand intense heat without cracking or chipping. This cooktop is compatible with installation above any Empava 24/30 in. under-counter single wall oven. It is also induction compatible with most stainless steel and cast-iron cookware.

• The Hot Surface indicator feature displays an "H" on the cooking area when elements are hot to the touch, providing a quick visual indication of the heat level. The pan size sensor heats the element to the size of your cookware and automatically turns off when no pan is present, ensuring safety and efficient cooking. With induction cooking, the heat is generated directly in the cookware, keeping the cooktop cooler to the touch.
