However . if you would like to record videos with this system . you NEED TO BUY A HARD DRIVE (or just purchased our HM241A)and here are some advises for the hard disk drive:Please select a 3.5 inches SATA hard drive specialized for 24/7 surveillance.

2.If your HD capacity is larger than 2TB(up tp 6TB) . please replace the power adapter with one capable of providing more amps.

3.The hard drive is a consumable. Please select a hard drive with brand to ensure good quality . like Western Digital 1TB WD10PURZ . Seagate Skyhawk 1TB ST1000VX005 .etc.

4.Please follow the user manual to install your hard drive and refer to the section of the Troubleshooting Guide to calculating the storage time.
